 | Karakura Town is a town or city in Western Tokyo, also the home town of Ichigo Kurosaki. It seems to be a small city with an average population. It resembles the real world on the surface, and the everyday humans are unaware of the ghosts and spiritual forces within the city. Sōsuke Aizen seeks to destroy Karakura town to make a copy of the Royal Key.
 Karakura High School,  Downtown, Outer Karakura | 0 | 0 | | | Hueco Mundo is located between the human world and Soul Society, though it is separate from the bordering dimension known as Dangai. The landscape of Hueco Mundo is a seemingly never-ending white desert, with dunes like those of the Sahara. The desert is littered with what appear to be boulders and shriveled trees, but these are actually a form of quartz. In Hueco Mundo, the Moon is on the opposite lunar phase of that in the human world. Like in Soul Society, the atmosphere is filled with Spiritual Energy in the form of Spiritrons, but it is more concentrated, thus allowing smaller Hollows to gain nourishment despite the lack of human souls. Like that in real world deserts, active life in Hueco Mundo appears to be few and far between.
White Desert, Forest of Menos, Las Noches | 0 | 0 | | | Soul Society, is the afterlife (also called the spirit world). It is meant to correspond to Heaven or Nirvana in human belief systems. It is the place where most departed souls and the Shinigami dwell. There is two different places here: Rukongai, where the normal souls reside. Seireitei, where shinigami live, work, and train. To enter Seireitei and become a shinigami, one must have enough spiritual energy. The Soul Society has several laws, enforced by the King of Soul Society and the Royal Guards. In the Soul Society, much like Earth, there are also hollows which are dealt with by shinigami. Several bases of organization's and other types of souls live hidden around the Soul Society. The Four Noble Clans live inside of Rukongai and Seireitei, along with several other small clans
